A Turkish friend in Turkish Peace Force - Afghanistan and an Armorama member, Barkin Bayoğlu aka Carl Gustav sent us some photos when he was building his 1/72 Luchs in his tent in Kabul.
Thanks a lot brother and come back in safe.
..and on duty.

Hi Barkin,
You demonstrate how this hobby is something indispensable for some of us. Hope you come back in safe.

Be safe and god speed. I hope your deployment passes quickly.
I sure wish I had a civilian version of the HK rifle he has strapped on.

Gentleman;
Thank you all for your best wishes.
Here are some pics of the 1/72 Luchs finished with paintbrush and Revell enamels:
I am not entirely satisfied with the outcome (since the colors do not match the original). Plus the wash was done with enamel on top of enamel with no protective layer of Micro gloss. In this respect I started work on a 1/35 version of LUCHS (because that is the only AFV model kit that I could find over here in KABUL).
Happy modelling to all.
