Need advice from the Obi - Wan - Kanobie German tanker types. Tigers in or around pre Ardennes Sept. to Nov. what, when, where. Early, mid, late. Were they even in the area? Currently waiting on 2 Drgn. initial 3-1 and Aber 1/35th super set from Great Models. Need Tiger types there, units etc. Currently have Drgn. Panther A late & Aber super set. Children now need scholarships to attend college. Dio will be pre Ardennes Sept. - Nov. 1944. Have German bldg. & bridge & barge now need vechs. that were in the area - no specific geographical location, just German - Belg. border pre Bulge. HELP ! All advice ruminated, swallowed, digested and or defecated. Jackhammer, Tango20, medic, modelling mental bloc. Have knowledge of Stug, Hetzer and T.D. units. Advice on to tank or not to tank? Should I just use refitting vechs.? Need input for plausible but not necessarily spot on historical data [ poetic license clause]. Please I need someone to slap me upsidda da head with some good ideas. - Cheyenne

Sorry Cheyenne you're out of luck. There were a very few (14 or less) Tiger I's in or near the Ardennes during that time frame but none were initials like the ones that can be built from the Dragon kit. These would have only been found in Russia in late '42 into early and possibly mid '43. As for the Panther A that's more doable (is that a word??) Though the "G" was more numerous at this point there were still "A's" around.

Both Dragon and Tamiya make late King Tiger Henschel turret type kits. In fact they both call them Ardennes Tigers. Go with one or two of these and you won't have any extra research.

Kelley, Blaster, thanks I kinda thought using the T-1's was stretchin it. Don't want to use my T-2's tho I've got them assigned to something else. Looks like I'll use PZ IV's and the Panther A & G then, refitting, how about any PZ III's no? go fish? Thanks again guys.- Cheyenne
