Carl:

How does that new Hemi engine kit compare with the old Renwal Visible V-8?

I had a chance not too long ago to buy the Visible Car Chassis for $100 and idiotically passed on it. Also had a chance to get the Chrysler Slant Six engine for $50 about 8 years ago and also passed. I've never seen another before or since. . .

Carl: wow...I'm . I fyou ever need to thin down the stash, there will be a loving home waiting here in Orlando, FL.

I've only been married for 6 years and my wife loves what I do. She comes in my room to see what new little thing I'm working on now.

Well guys you've certainly got me beat on quantity. My problem is all those big expensive 350 scale ships. With PE and extra aircraft they're running around $150 a pop. Still got too many airplanes and those will take forever as I only build 1 or 2 a year. Still want that 48 scale Vigilante though. I've got 30 35th scale vehicles,(with 2 on order) 25 sets of figures. In 48th scale armor (old Bandai and Aurora) I've got 7. Problem is those 8 big 350 scale warships, with the North Carolina, Hood, and Alabama probably out in the next 6 months. Dozen or so cars and 15 48 scale aircraft..oh yea 3- 72nd scale PT boats

BTW Rottenfuhrer. I'm gonna swat your hands if I see you buying out the dealers at squadron fest :-)

Been married for 40 years and nary a complaint about the models and modeling from the wife. Of course, none of the money for models comes out of the regular pay checks, that could have some thing to do with it.

I have a sideline to make my pocket and model money. I cast lead pistol bullets. In fact, one time I was out of a job for 9 months and the bullet money paid all the bills!

But my building rate is a lot slower than my buying rate. I guess the wife will have a heck of a yard sale when they feed me to the furnace. :-)

The stash is around 200 kits right now.

Hi...

I see we have something in common...you cast lead pistol bullets and I shoot cast lead bullets. I have been shooting mostly T & T ( a local supplier, eastern Pa.). I follow them around at local gun shows and buy them in person to avoid shipping charges(lead is heavy).
They are generally fairly hard cast w/beveled bases and do not lead the barrel, even when driven to near-max velocities.
