Aah...my diorama lingers on...Okay, I've finally got a base, and now I need something to cover it. I thought that maybe some roofing shingles, which look great, but I don't have enough. Do you guys/gals have any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

I'm not quite following.... You have a solid base (a board or frame) - yes?
Roofing shingles are something like 6"by10" or 6"by12" - how big is your diorama?
Maybe some lanolium? or floor tiles?

Matthew, Like Scott, I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do.
Are you building a building that needs shingles?
Or is it a picture frame, and you need something to fill in the glass area? Please give us a little more infomation..... and we could probably be of more help.

Oh, I'm sorry! Yes, I have a base; It's 32" x 38" in size. Also, I need something to cover the bottom. Thank you guys for your time.
(Oh, Dave! I didn't know you were back! Welcome back!)

Wow - that's big - try to go to a local construction site and see if they are throwing away any shingles....
Or try to get some lenolium - you can get some cheap pieces at a DIY. Large sheets come in 12feet by xxxx and some people only need 11 feet by xxxx and the 1 foot is scrap and cheaply aquired.
