I was wondering if anyone can help me and tell me where on rim do I have to place the valve stem?
I can't seem to find any reference on that...

Pedro

The valve stem is located in the center of one of the open slots of the wheel. The stem is facing to the inside of the rim. As you look at the wheels as they are mounted to the truck the valve stem faces to the inside so to protect the end of the stem.

Pedro, basically, it should be like any other wheel, with the valve stem somewhere along the inner portion of the rim. This is how a dual-wheel set-up looks.

Can't find a pic of a single truck tire, but you can kinda get the idea if you were to remove the outer wheel, how it would look.

Hope that helps.

The stems are there, as well as scratchbiuld jerrycan holder and turn signal guards. I put together the cargo bed. I don't know where to get those turn signals though...

Animal and Gino, thanks for the advice on stems!

Do you have the ones that came with the kit? Or do you also have some from another US AFV kit? The front marker lights and blackout lights (one in the same on this vehicle) are the same that is on the front of others. If you have any spare military taillights they could be used as the front markers. Just paint the lens Amber yellow or orange. You could try to cut the light guards off the kit ones.

That's it Pedro, you got it, some are straight, some are curved, the valve stems come a couple different ways, and sense the back wheels are mounted like the steering, then you do them the same.

Most of the time they are pointed towards the opening so you can put your air gauge right on them, but then I've had some straight just like you got it there, which is real hard to check the air in the tires or add air when they are like that, but sense you aren't doing that, it doesn't matter.

I dont have any spare tail lights. I only tried modern style markers from humvee kit and they're too big for my guards. I also belive that they were used from m35 trucks up and not on m34's. So I guess I'll just go with the ones from the kit...

Pedro, M113 tail lights are the sam eas the old style front marker lights as used on the M34. If you have any spare M113 tail lights, those would do as well. Or any vehicle tail lights from WWII vehicle would work too.

You are looking great except for the fact it looks shiny, but that might just be the picture.

Pedro is still working on this, it is not even painted yet. Give him a chance, I'm sure it will come out nicely when he is done.

You're right Gino, I'm still working on it. The only drawback is that on saturday night, just as I was painting it with black primer, my compressors electric capacitor(condenser?) got popped out and burnt...
I know revell made plastic is damn shiny, much more shine than that of other manufacturers, dunno why though

You can put them on if you want. This was something that was done at unit level. If they had the material in the motor pool and you could talk a mechanic to weld them on you got them. So mechanic weld them on!
