sorry all for the long delay, but here are a couple of update pictures for this diorama.

it doesnt include any of the figures or the bridge models, but just a general idea of the layout. the building is a hybrid verlinden item and will have a full inside (a diorama in its self

)

Ola Keith
When I first saw the pics of the bridge only I was already stunned by the work as it was brilliant but then I did not had a good idea of how the dio would become. Well seeing your latest pics I have to say I`m even more stunned by the size of it. Great job.
I`m really looking forward to the further progress as it is something that is part of the Dutch History.
IS that the Tamiya Stug under the bridge?
So yeah show more you are doing a brilliant Job.

Now this is a diorama is going to amaze us. It's allready showing some excellent work, but once it's done, it's a diorama that will rock the diorama world. The composition will take care of this.... a massive structure with lots of space around it...
This is an awesome project Keith !!!!!
Make sure to make enough pics... I would love to do a feature on it once it's done.
EXCELLENT !!!

Wow Keith, this dio is going to be stunning!! and huge! So far it looks excellent. Will there be more vehicles included besides the Stug? Also will there be anything atop the bridge? I just love the multi levels you have going here. I am looking forward to seeing the next in progress pics. Cheers Kevin

Hi guys
thanks for the comments, This has been a long time project of mine, one i have wanted to do but a little differently from everybody else.
The diorama has grown as it has been built, but i think i have just the right size and compostion now. The bridge will have some knocked out half tracks etc on the road piece and retreating Red devils. The building will contain 3 floors plus the attic again this will be a diorama in its self.
There are a couple of other thing i wish to try but ill keep those a little secret for now!!
a couple of pictures of the Half track for the bridge

Keith, brilllliant work, I like the way you integrated the scratch roof onto the plaster kit bldg. This promises to be an eye-catcher from all angles. With your comments on how you will be completing this, including a finished interior in the bldg. ,on the bridge etc., there will be many vignettes within the dio - now thats a work of art. Oh one last comment, I hope thats not your pink coat with the fur on it , on the back of the chair? - just kidding, exellent build I hope your not as slow as I am on my work I'd love to see more progress pics. - Cheyenne

Hello Keith:
Wow, this is going to be fantastic. I love your layout, the placement of the elements, etc. IMO, your composition is so strong with the two largest elements. That is (1) the bridge and (2) the facade of the building on the right. I noticed the angle of the bridge going back from the front left of the base and the angle of the building going back from the front right side both create, at least in my opinion, sight lines that converge right above where the tank is. My guess is that wasn't by accident. A masterful job of arranging, Keith. I feel that whereever you place the figs and other vehicles you'll still have these two strong sight lines to carry a person's eye into the heart of the dio. So eager to see more, mate.
