Right now I am just getting the feelers out for this Would a good number of people be interested in another Sherman campaign? It would start January 1st,2006 and end December 31st,2006 I reliaze that is 7 months away but there are quite a few campaigns going on right now
As with the previous campaign the M3 Lee/Grants and Canadian Rams will be included I am thinking of a theme this time Non-ETO
What I mean by that is,build a variant that saw service in N.Africa,Sicily,Italy, the Pacific and post war service
I will still allow ETO marked tanks to be included I know for some people it can be expensive to buy AM stuff to make a certain variant
Please let me know what ya'll think

I there - rules don't matter much to me either!

I do like the idea of NOT modeling the same variant as done in the One of Our Tanks Campaign though. There's tons of other Shermans out there to do...

Of course I'm in!!!! Hey Zod there will be a whole lot of Shermans coming out from Dragon. Maybe it would make sense to make sure that some of these new kits can be used. I know there will be M4A3(76) and M4A3E8(76) released for Battle of the Bulge.

I think I might just have an early M4A1 with Direct vision slots that would look cool in a Desert camo ..Now if I can only hold off till the 1st of January.

Not yet Alan I decided on a late starting date because we have so many campaigns going on until then I'm not sure if a campaign lasting over a year is allowed
For now I will build an early M4A2 used by the British in N.Africa Legends has a conversion out You can use either the Academy M4A2/M10 series or they have a conversion for the Italeri M4A1
May also do an IDF early M50 using the composite hull

Lol that post really made it worth that I got out of my bed today :-)
I like the non-ETO thing, but were M4A3 Dozers used in the PTO? If so, I already know what I'm gonna built!
If not, maybe a Korean M4A3E8 would be nice

They sure did. The Army and Marines both used 'em. good for digging out or covering those pesky Japanese bunkers ... and clearing the wrecks of Japanese armor off the roads.
