I was wondering if anyone would like to build a IDF model or dio campaign. I was thinking about doing a dio and thought that I haven't seen a IDF campaign yet or in awhile that it might make a nice campaign.
It could be both types of campaigns, I am just trying to get a feel if anyone would want to join or might want to join or even interstead in something like this.
Any ideas of what it should be would really appreciated or what you would build or want to build.

I don't know it just when people would want to start collectively some time later this year or beginning of next year or and last for awhile 6-8 months I guess. What is the normal time frame for a campaign. This is my 1st campaign so I might need alittle HELP from some of the PRO's about this.
I just need alittle motivation to build a IDF model or dio and I know campaigns do that for me aleast.
YES; there is allot of campaigns now I just want to feel around and see if people want to do a IDF model or dio. I have wanted to do one since I found this wonderful site.

Sounds like a good idea. I've a Tiran in the pile and I'm in as long as it isn't starting too soon. Have you thought of broadening it to a middle-east campaign to include IDF, allies and Arab states? That would include a huge range of machinery from western and soviet WWII surplus to present day, something for everyone, no matter what your taste in armour.

I was going to suggest the Arab states too until I read Bud1's response. I think and IDF/Middle East Wars build would be interesting.

I'd like to join in an IDF campaign too. I'd like to build a Super Sherman.
But I'm a bit stuck up with several campaigns for the moment. I will join if the campaign will start sometime in 2006.

I agree, an IDF/Mideast wars type of thing could hold a lot of interest for a lot of modellers. I have already enlisted in one campaign, and getting involved in another will definitely keep me busy & hopefully thin out my unbuilt kit collection.

So count me as interested.

IDF campaign would be cool. I have a couple kits in my stash that I could use.

Count me in. I'm signed on with a few other campaigns, but I like working under this type of pressure

Already have stuff that is somewhat underway that I haven't touched in a while so it would be a good way to actually finish something. :-) Just give me a start and stop date and its a go. "Q"

Anway, got a couple of kits around and this would really be a good reason do start one of them! Count me in .....

How about having a campaign based on M-113's in Israeli service? i think this subject gives a wide range of choice, not only in vehcilces, but for diorama's if a person wants to go that way?
I owuld definately be up for a M-113 or even a Centurion campaign

I'd be in on that one, I have signed up for a couple of campaigns, but due to extenuating circumstances and work (lack of motivation to boot) I have been unable to make the due dates.....would be nice to bust out my Super Shermie or that Fitter I have lying around.....I like the idea of Israel vs. Arab Nations, few more things to pick from......keep us posted if this will form up or not!!

That sounds funny. I am in Singapore, and i can't find anything that belongs to us that is for sale with our flags..
:-) :-) :-) :-) although we can get a Heller AMX-13 which we are using in Singapore got it way back in 67 advice from our ISraeli friends during our nation building.

But even if i get the HEller product, i can never mod it into the current SM-1 model.
