I am planning a dio of an SAS recce patrol in Iraq or Afghanistan (1/35). Does anyone know of a Land Rover kit for this period?

The next option is a conversion kit as I have the Tamiya SAS pinky from the Oman operations. I could strip & convert this. It will need extensive conversion as the new Defender has a different grill. Plus roll bar, etc.

Even a dinky kit or conversion kit would do as most parts are the same as a pinky.

Accurate Armor has new Land Rover kits but they are very expensive in the U.S.- about $90 per vehicle. Firing Line has something related to Land Rover but I don't know what their models look alike so I cannot tell you much. I think that's about it as far as present day Land Rovers are concerned.

I don't have the AA Rover but if you have not done an AA kit they are nice.I have many of their other kits and they build up nice and clean.

Thanks all. The AA WMIK Landy looks red hot. Bit steep for my wallet though
