When I last checked I wasn't a lady (or a female) :-) , but this is an interesting thread.

Lately I have been wondering quite a bit about the demographics of the community. Would be nice if someone could put some sort of survey together with gender, age groups, education levels, etc about our little global family. Could be a nifty little selling point when at expo's, shows or with potential sponsors...

Hi Mary

Unfortunately, I think the answer to both your questions is "Not enough" - and I'm not sure if we have ANY women yet among the UK members - although I'm working on a friend of mine... Shame on us!

All the best

How would an armorama wide survey sound?..I could go through the members one by one...Looking reading profiles to determine who is male or female..and if it is underterminable by profile..maybe a friendly pm asking them. Sounds time consumeing..but..i have a lot of time on my hands..What do you guys think?
Mary

However..would probably take me years to get through everyone..lol

I suppose in theory, if you women were looking after their men propperly, ie pampering them, then you wouldn't have ANY time for model building or visiting Armorama..........................

Not at all, it just seems to me that after pampering to your man's every whim, doing the shopping, looking after your kids, cleaning, cooking, laundry and ironing, more cooking, washing up, more cleaning etc every day I can't see how you ladies would find the time to do some model building. I hope you aren't skimping on your chores.

Martin...are you married??Does your wife take care of your every whim, your every hearts desire?? Does she have hobbies? If so, you should already know the answer of how we are able to do it. If not...this is the secret..

Its because women are better than men..

Mary, my partner and I are getting married some time this summer. She has only one hobby, taking care of me. This seems the natural order of things. She never complains, that's because she is only allowed to speak when spoken to.

Martin, Stand by, life as you know it will end soon!

Also, since my name is Lauren, has been for over 43 years, alot of folks assume I am a female. That is until I walk into the room and the solar eclipse happens. 6'5" ish and 245lbs with mustache. Sorry if anybody had any wrong impressions. Cheers!
