Hey Guy's,
Here are a few pics of my latest project. I was getting a little burned out on shermans so I thought this would be the perfect antidote. Its the Tamiya Jeep with the Resicast Airborne jeep and trailer Conversion. Its a pretty straight forward set and it only took me two evenings to get to this point. I still need to add a few small details and source out a load for the trailer. All in all Im pretty pleased with the way the little kit is turning out. Thanks for looking
Cheers,
Bryan

Wow! It's a wonderful conversion! And very well done by you Bryan! Congratulations! I can't wait to see it painted, weathered and "maned"- Yes, because it's crying out for a crew or at least a driver (try Ultracast's Canadian/British Jeep Driver- set 35031- and trans form it into a para!) and some other figures around the jeep and trailer!
Cheers and happy modeling!

Very nice indeed Bryan - I've been toying with the idea of getting one of these for a while. One thing you may want to consider as a load are the wicker airborne baskets - Accurate Armour will supply them individually for a pound each... I bought a couple of them a while ago... If not here are a lot of possibilities such as six-pounder ammo boxes or (if the finances permit it ) , a Welbike...Jim

Looking good so far Bryan. I look forward to seeing it painted and weathered. I would suggest loads of .303 and PIAT ammo as a good load, the Para's dropped light and would always be waiting anxiously for the reserve ammo to arrive (and food I guess!).
