This is my version of the Armorama Nextel cup car for the Armorama 500 campaign.
The body is from a chevy kit that I had robbed decals from for another car i made some decaling mistakes on..
the body is airbrushed in gloss red and yellow. (first time Airbrushing gloss for me... the decals are a combination of kit decals and a set of Custom decals I made using the Testors try it decal pack I got at wal-mart for $6.00 and printed on my inkjet computer printer.. for the outlay I don't think the results are too bad... but this is my first try so next time I hope to do better.
by the way this isn't quite finished yet.. have to let it dry a day or two before adding the clear coat.. I think that will improve the look of the decals a bit..
Photo of finished custom decal sheet
P.S. I hope I don't get in hot water for any copyright issues...

Hey Delbert, that...looks ...great. Wow. I like the decal on the front hood the most. That looks like it should qualify well at Daytona in July Great job man, it really looks good. The whole decal package fits togather nicely.

Just a really dumb question from a non-nascar person....

Yes Dave they do put the name on them nowadays but the problem is that I couldn't find a driver willing to change rides...

OK thanks....
But since this a fun build, there should be a fun driver....
I think -- Delbert -- would be a great drivers name.
