What a cool idea Dragon has with their 3 in 1 kits, maybe they can expand the range?

nah modern isn't really my thing......

cool 3-in-1 kits:

- M3 halftrack in 3 versions
- Panther with lots of goodies?
- Churchill tank? AVRE, normal, bridgelayer?

Euh....and about any other WW2 tank LOL

Keep going dragon...but don't concentrate too much on German stuff, don't forget the allies!

M3 halftrack would be my first choice.

Something for the Brits would be great too.

Just no more German stuff.

Reaching for a dream, a Panzer 1 3-in-1 kit, or Marder 1, 2, 3, 3M 3-in-1 kits, ha ha ha or even dare I ask set of Pak's 1/35 scale 3-in-1 kits, but like I said, reaching for a dream, 'cause nobody here even stocks most of the stuff I mentioned...

I luv building kits

Hi Guys ...Don't get me wrong here but I find Dragon is making alot of noise over very little ..I look at their Initial Tiger which is sold as a 3 in 1 kit...You get two different types of stowage boxes.. So your 3 in 1 is what used to be called options in other kits...Just a quick example ..When you buy the Tamiya Late tiger..They give you two barrels and tell you to open the hole in the mantlet if you are doing a late but not to open it if you are doing the final version..Does that mean Tamiya gave us a 2 in 1? Nah! I do agree that some of their Half track kits fill the box with options but most of them can or could be bought separately if you wanted to build it that way..Remember Tamiya used to mention that the 37mm could be used on the 251 in the instructions ..So really this 3 in one thing is nothing new. :-)
I'm glad to see these kits too ,as the spare box keep growing and growing .

In the absence of Bronco, my 3-in-1 would be:

Hotchkiss H35
Hotchkiss H39
some German bits thrown in (or out in my case)

Perhaps the best manifestation of the 3 in 1 kits, is to be found with the 251 series. Some of he ideas have, IMHO, been hammered to death - M3 H/Ts. nice idea, and i'd personally welcome them the real BUT is whether or not the economic returns would be there.

One of the (strangely) positive 'perks' of being on the staff of the site, is that, in my contacts with DML, they are very positive about this site, but also make decisions based on demand within the market. Don't doubt that they ARE aware of the opinions expressed here and other sites - perhaps they are also (the first company) to realize that the Asian market is vitally important, but so is the U.S./European market.

Just remember, DML (and the other 'Majors') are in business to make money - not for the 'sentiment'. That is how Free-Market Economics works...Jim

A really good idea. I'd like to see them do some allied 3- 1 with the new M4A3 76 sherman.
They could add their excellent Late High bustle turret with parts for both a 75mm and 105mm armed vehicle. This would give the modeller the ability to do three significant shermans from the box.

Another variation would be to offfer the 75/105 turret and Late M4 hull parts with the M4A2 76mm kit to allow for M4A2 76, M4A2 75 and M4 105.

or

The upcoming Sherman 1c, (the original 2-1 DML kit btw). Add a Low bustle mid production 75mm turret and a late High Bustle turret to give:
Firefly 1 c
M4 Composite early
M4 Composite late

Just a few of the top of my head and real no brainers for DML (with the possible exception of the M4 late hull)
