Here is my base of almost finished diorama, A small road of the North of France in May, 40. He(it) will receive 2 AMD 178, and Gnome*Rhône AX2, and their crews, from the 6°GRDI

The road, is not still dry, and I am going to have to repair some damages in the flocage my plane trees caused during the various manipulations during the work, (nothing grave; it is normal…)
Of what think of it you?

Looks great..
The trees, the grass and the road are looking very well.
Now you have to tell us about them..
What are the materials and the methods used especially on the trees and long grass? I'd be glad if you answer

Excellent trees and base! I'll second Wampum's call for an explanation of how you did the trees.

Awesome display !!

The fresh green grass, contrasting poppy flowers and roadstone, and the trees that show off perfect modeling....simply awesome.

This is a wonderful project so far. Be sure to keep us posted on the progress.

I love you groundwork. The trees are really nice, what did you use for the trees? Also..what type of grass is that? It looks almost like the Heki wildgrass, but it seems a bit longer. Can you share with us please??

christmari, excellent work so far. I love the way you incorporated the flowers into the scene. I like to use this too...a lot of people dont realize but up to and including ww2 there were flowers and wild flowers everywhere along the sides of the roads throughout europe. I love your grass and trees also. I agree with the othres please share what you used. Possibly is this the noch wild grass? Kevin

Ah Lieutenant:

OK Loooooo, give us the word. Imput, imput etc. Those trees are very impressive, just the bomb (American slang used by the very young, now days meaning so kewl and really good.) and like everyone else, I am eager to get all the details. What a great start for your dio, dude. Yes, this ain't CNN or the nightly News. However, inquiring minds would like to know,

All kidding aside, really lovely work. And not easy to pull off. Lot of time consuming grunt kinda' work. Congrats,

Salut Christophe,
maybe a Features submission would be interesting for every one out here.
Your technique is damn too cool. The grass must have been a pain to get so realistic.

a+
