For those of you with good monitors/eye sight (or maybe just imagination) this page of the Shizuoka show report has tiny pictures of the forthcoming US figures and a sprue shot.

Once again they are based on their 1/35 figures, only most of them are more recent issues unlike their German figures.

And a really close look at the weapon sprue shows that it is in fact German.

Some of them seem to be German, it's true, but others are definitely American. I wonder what gives?

I like these a lot, BTW, especially for 1/48th scale. I'll definitely be doing a diorama with them.

I wonder if we could induce Tamiya into making that Citroen automobile in 35th scale? Now that would be a fantastic piece for diorama building. Did you see the Rommel Kubelwgon set...how cool !
