Here are some progress pics of my PBR for the MP campaign. Everything is painted, and I just started doing the weathering. Just a little more and some dry brushing and then I can start to add it to the base.

Ahoy Mother

Your PBR is looking great!
Don't forget to weather the fire extinguisher

Just a couple of silly questions:
Are you going to use the model base or are you going to put it on a "wet brown water base"?
And are you going to use the canvas cover or going to make the tubular structure?

Keep up the good work!!! And keep the warship guys informed

Mother,

Altough it's not a PBR, you can check for some of the pictures for weathering purpose... Colours and type of weather in this kind of boats - I have found this and intend to scratch one of this - one of these days :-)

An interesting subject
MK II Combat Support Boat

Hope this helps

She's looking nice Joe!

Do you preshade or post shade...or both?

If you get a chance, can you get a closer shot of the M-16s in the rack...they look great at this angle.
I like to see how people weather their weapons for future reference.

Nice shading on the boat Joe. I personally would never build another one after doing four of them, but they are easy kits to build with no fit probs whatsoever.
Keep it up!

It is the Tamiya PBR-Mk2 kit.

Here is mine that took 1st in large scale boats at TamiyaCon IX last year.

Mine is done up to depict the boat in the movie "Apocalypse Now".

Good job on yours so far Joe.
