I haven't started mine yet. But I've read the instruction sheet and examined the parts. The only part of the project that looks a little tricky is the working suspension. And that just has to do with the placement of springs and the fact that I tend to launch springy metal parts into space. Other than that, I agree with Ken. It's an awsome kit .

Which m26 kit is better dml or tamiya?
I dml has 2 kit one first m26 experimental one and one used in korean war.
Which one should one choose to build?

I started the Tamiya M26 just last night, and so far, it's a dream build. Very crisp moldings. And the fit of everything is dead on (so far). The little spring things for the suspension are no problem. They just drop in place, and screw them down. There's no tension on them until you add the arms of the suspension. But since they're secured with screws, there's now way for them to fly off. The only dificult thing is making sure you don't loose any of the tiny screws. But they shouldn't be hard to replace since they're about the same size as eyeglass screws. I did order some link to link tracks for it though. I never have liked those large rubber bands they send with the kits. They never lay right. Tomorrow, I paint the road wheels. Yee Ha!!

Amigo--welcome to a great site for information. Can you photograph your work. I am interested in starting the M-26 Tamiya when I complete my USMC M-4.
thanks

My tamiya M26 went together flawlessly. I only had 5 small spots to fill. I did do quite a bit of work on the seam that runs horizontally on the turret. The production seam was obvious but somewhat blended into the finish if that makes any sense. The working suspension was actually quit simple. Definitely nothing to intimidate you. I replaced the kit .50 cal with a verlinden resin .50. I used the kit main gun barrel and sanded the seams out. It looks as good as any after market barrel. Overall, the kit is pretty much flawless. I truly enjoyed putting it together.
