hope im in the right forum for this,I have the Tamyia s.a.s. jeep what I need confirmed is this did they use the airforce version of the .50 on these vehicles im sure I read some where that they did could some one confirm this for me, as I have the academy version of that gun and would love to mount it on the jeep. all the best.

Yes, they used the air cooled version of the M2.

I have that SAS jeep too in my to-do pile. I'm also planning to use an academy mg in it. The original tamiya mg is, let's say, "interesting" :-)

I think you can safely use it, as this picture shows one using what appears to be the air force barrel.
