Well guys, I win! As nobody said it had to be in physical years, I can honestly say I'm the oldest as I am on my 75th lifetime here. ( Originally born in Tara, Eire in 456BCE)
So, I'm about 2500 years old!

No, really!

I am not in the same league -I am only young at 45 but my father who is 74 still to this day models- He scratch builds- Did a 1/48 scale coastal frieghter(ship) and last week completed a scatck build 5 tin railway crane
He is not as good as he was and sometimes the finish of his models are a bit rough _eyesight and old hands but it has taken me until recent 2 years to start to match him- so Jim my dad is right up there
Ian
Dad was a professional modeller for 11 years even having a display of his work in Queensland house in London

Glad to see that at 53 I'm still sort of in the mid-range age bracket of modelers here (wishful thinking?) Anyway, my wife says I never past 16 Yrs. mentally which as I get older, I think may be a compliment?
Oh, according to the eye doc my long range vision is 20/20 which means I have no problem seeing a model 30' away (close up vision provided by optivisor)
Cheers,
Charles
