Hi Mark,
Its a great kit, same as the original release except they sorted the problems with the nose armour.
it has a few minor issues, such as the tracks are a little thin compared to the real ones, but to be honest it looks fine on a finished model.
id get one, and the europa military book on the warrior for reference.
regards
Joe

I built the original and it had no issues. The Iraq version has been upgraded and had some corrections made, along with adding newer gear (kit to you Brits) and armor used in Iraq. Here is a review of the kit.
Iraq Warrior
I highly recommend it.

It's basically a neat model, you might want to take care when installing the suspension arms for the road wheels as it's easy to get the ground clearance wrong.
As well as the Europa Militaria book suggested by Greatbrit (which is called Warrior Company), the Concord Mini is worth looking at, it has scale plans to get the ground clearance right.

Very nice kit. The update really improved it. If you want to really do it up, Accurate Armour has announced a really nice armour update. It is the C085 - Warrior Enhanced Armour IRAQ 2005 set.

Welcome to Armorama Jim!
The Accurate Armour set looks nice, but it will be horribly expensive...

Anyone know if the issues with the turret basket clearnace regarding the upper rear hull pericopes were resolved in the re-issue?
That was the worst part of the kit for me in its original incarnation.

Nope, the old basket is still in there...

Gentlemen, Thanks for all the input and remarks about this one...I've got one on my workbench right now and I was amazed at how easily things were going and I just had to get someone elses opinion about the kit...

Joe,
On my kit the nose armour is improved but not really sorted. The problem is the bulges on the transmission cover extend too far inward - unless these are modified/replaced, correctly asized add-on nose armour will not fit - I think Academy fudged it again
As someone else pointed out, as provided the suspension sits too high - but this is more easily fixed.

Is their an after market kit which adds the Milan ATGW launcher to the turret roof? I am not talking about the two TOW launcher found on the Kuwait warriors, but the one used on British warriors? Also if anyone has some referece pics of this ATGW launcher on the warrior it would be appreciated!

Accurate Armour is coming out with a very nice Milan launcher (I thought there was a news item about it) and there is one in the Italeri 1/35 Modern Light Weapons.
There is a picture of a Warrior with the Milan mounted in Concord Special Ops #26 & 27 but no clear shot of how it's mounted on the turret.
Some have surmised that it is mounted on the right front antenna mount but the pictures I've seen also show the front right antenna in place.

This thread was running a few weeks ago with some pics of a couple of part built part warriors and the problems I found.
