Had chance to make quick tour of Military History Exhibition at Museum of American History in Washington DC last week. Highly recommended if you haven't been there yet.

One of display items was a Jeep hanging from the ceiling, so I shot some pix of the drivetrain & etc.

They must change exhibits -- the reason I went was to see a quilt a friend of ours made depicting the USN forcing a Russky sub to the surface during the Cuban missile crisis. Her husband was on the lead DD & tells a great story about the whole affair.

Anyway, it was no longer there -- I knew I waited too long to get up there ...
