I really like the look of both versions, but if I could only buy one, it would be version "B". My reason is utility. Dio's are great, and I fool around with them myself. But, I would prefer to see something like that in a book or magazine format, rather than a calender. Now, version "B" not only gives me a completed model to look at, but reference shots as well, which would come in handy for a lot of things.

I think it's easier for people to relate version 'B'. When you try to sell an armor calendar to 'average' people, they don't know the kind of work that goes into a diorama. Something that appears a masterpeice to us, will look toyish to other people. For dios to be featured, they would have to be the most realistic out there... if there's just one 'weak' area, people will notice. (that's from the average consumer's POV)
Version 'B' would be more appealing to people because there's just one focus, the tank. There's no distracting backround (hmm. That grass looks funny...)
Since I like dio's and armor, I'd like to see both!
NOTE: My post was not a critiqe of anyone's work. I just said what I think some people might think. The dio in the image Jim posted is pretty darn cool! :-)

How about something like this? While the picture is a little more busy, it incorporates several models/versions of the same subject.

I'd buy that - for a Dollar...
(apologies to RoboCop)
I like having variations of the central subject displayed there, busy though it may be.
