Yes and no is the easy answer for this one. In the past, i normally just mix my acrylic paints with thinner or water to lighten them. Now that im learning new methods of washes, that is new stuff to me.

Thanks very much for the info, i shall be actioning most of them on my M113.

yeah it is hence why i started this thread to find out if its worth weathering or not.

At the time when i constructed this, i didnt know anything about weathering until recently hence why it was left in such a clean state.

My next Sherman will definitely be the dirtiest thing on the street.
