Very nice, I like the cut away view of the tunnel and as mentioned the punji pit is a nice feature. What was the base made of?

If it isnt too much trouble, could you name the material you used for the foliage? It is very nice

Good job

Its a mix of aquaruim plants, woodland scenics foliage, and fake plants found at craft stores sorry I cant be more specific.

What was the base made of?

For the tunnel area I used styrofoam insulation. Very easy to work with when forming tunnels, trenches etc. The rest of the base is just plywood.

Mate that is fantabulous! Love the tunnels! Anyone can make a dio but what seperates this from the rest is definitely the tunnels as the VCs certainly used that to their advantage.

Well executed dio, no doubt about it. Lots of different things going on, but it all ties together well. The tunnel is something else. I really was surprised when I looked at the second photo and realized it was the same dio! Again, well done on this one.

Keenan,
In the 4th pic down I looked through your window and...Well, do you have a Tank parked outside. It looks like a tank's gun barrel jutting from the left.
Great Dio by the way.

Dont let this stop you from doing the tunnel diorama. I would like to see another one. There really fun to build.

i find the tunnels to be a little over sized compared too the real thing

For some reason my digi cam makes them appear bigger.

Of course I had to have somthing to shut the neighbors up. :-) :-) :-) Just kidding its just a piece of pipe you see but man I wish it was a tank.
Im glad you all liked it.

Good stuff on finishing the dio, Keenan. If I'm not mistaken you have another about a stream crossing. Anyway the tunnel really adds a whole new dimension to the dio.

My only tiny nitpick is the road. It would be nice to have a bit of contrast to it as it looks a bit flat in the photo. Maybe its just the photo or the flash I guess. All in all a very interesting and well thought out dio.
