Trumpeter as most of you will realise by now, are bringing out four
different KV kits which are.
KV-1 model 1942 Heavy Cast Turret Tank
KV-1 model 1942 Simplified Turret Tank
KV-1(model 1941) KV Small Turret Tank
KV-2 Tank
So far it seems, if my reading is correct from the forums, only the Kv II and the Kv I (simplified) turret are available - with the latter in very short supply. Is it my imagination or is only the KV II actually available in any numbers?...Jim

Hi, Here in Ohio, only the KV-II is around.
I also read someplace or other on the Net. that Trumpter was also going to do the KV-II B as well. Anybody heard anything on this one way or the other? Just curious.
Take care, Sgirty

Jim,
The KV-1 model 1942 Heavy Cast Turret Tank (kit 00359) and KV-1(model 1941) KV Small Turret Tank (kit00.56) were released first but only in Asia for some reason and then the other two (00312 KV-2 kit and 00358 KV-1 model 1942 Simplified Turret) were released world wide.
The first two are being released world wide some time this month, I have no idea why this happened this way.
I actually received the first two kits at the end of June from RT in Japan but as mentioned are only now becoming available in the rest of the world.
Cheers

I have only just managed to order the Kv - 1 (Small turret) Mod. 1941 from Lucky Models. Previously I had only seen the Kv - II in Britain and in Poland. That is what was annoying me...Jim

I have the Trumpeter KV-2 kits in stock here at my shop, but have yet to get any of the KV-1 kits. I do, however have all 4 KV-1 kits on pre-order.
Jim, there is 1 more Trumpeter KV-1 kit coming out, #00357 KV-1S Ehkranami. With this KV-1S hull, Trumpeter could also do a KV-85, but this is unknown at this time.
Cheers !!

Robert, thanks for that, I'm hoping they do the Kv-85 and (hope beyond hope) they might go further and do a Kv -220 or Kv-9...Too much to hope for?..Jim :-)
