OK, over the week end, Pvt Parts and myself ran across this EX-US ARMY truck, now being used as a civilian work horse. They did a few modifications to it, but left it in mostly the original markings.
Is there any one who came properly name it?

Exhaust was going up topside....
man you are fast..... LOL
We were wondering was it a dumper body or regular one, before they cut it down for the boom. But we couldn't see underneath for the hydraulics.

Concur, M35A2. M54 5-ton had a longer nose and the large air cleaner on the right fender. Front of hood is straight across as oppossed to angled back, as on the M35A2 above.

Thanks... they had all kinds of boxes welded inside the bed, so couldn't tell.
Was interesting though, they didn't repaint it, or do anything except cut down the body, and weld on the stuff..... all original markings, although most were covered by the grease, and leaking oil. Hell they even had the original military taillight dangling on it's wires.
Guess it was bought at auction, and off to work as soon as possible. Must have been fun to drive, since I think it had only ONE street tire on the front. The rest were military. Too much mud on the one side to get a good look.
