Is there any chance that we could use avatars of ourselves (or of our own design) as an alternative to the ones (excellent as they are ) provided onsite? My reason for asking is that I'm a face-person rather than a name-person and sometimes remember a face or icon better than a callsign.

What say, Staff Jim?

im guessing this will only be considered once we have migrated over to the dual cpu server as the old one is apparently constantly under stress.

It would certainly be a nice to have when it can cope.

Yeah, but we may end up with photos of naked modelers holding boat models.

That link is all well and good but doesnt help. Tankysgal1 and I tried that last December and after repeatedly contacting Jim and other members of the staff we never got to use our custom avitars. We were told Jim was to busy and didnt have the time, but were told he would get to it as soon as he had the time. lol oh well we learned to live with the ones we have. Although new ones would have been nice. Anyway goodluck. Cheers Kevin

Greetings, Kevin!
Maybe you should try putting another bug in Jim S.'s ear, Bro...Jim is an extremely busy man, and trust me, modifying a website is not an easy process at times...It took me a short while, but if you look at my avatar, persistence and patience paid off!
