Custom Dioramics has some propaganda posters... goto www.modelmecca.com and do a search. i have the sheet and it is pretty nice... a few "commercial" posters, street signs, and several military wall posters...

Keith

Thanks for the link It will come in handy later on
but this diorama is a big experiment and I`m trying to do as much by my own as possible
I also want to make the roadsigns by myself (buying them is too easy I want to challenge myself)
so anyone who can help me on this may post

Two ways you can do this via the internet... one is go to ART.COM and search for VINTAGE POSTERS - then sub-select RUSSIAN.

OR

You can go to www.google.com and in the search criteria put in the words "Russian propaganda" + "WWII"

This will show you a bunch of possible links. Click on the IMAGES tab and you can visually see the pictures. Copy / paste the ones you like into PC Paint (or similar program) and size them as needed. Then print them on thick glossy paper and you are all set.

Once you have cut them out an mounted them, hit the image with a flat spray to seal the image ink, and to eliminate the glossy appearance.

Works great... I do this frequently!

Private message Tankmaster and ask him. He would be more than happy to help you with this. He is Russian, from Penza and a great guy... He would be able to help with spelling, etc. You could print them on an inkjet printer and all...

Hi FAUST,
I've been rummaging throught the books I have about the Russian campaign, and I could find one photo on which streetname signs are visible, alas not legible.
They are from Rostov(!) and are a dark rectangle with white lettering. Also I noted that they are quite high on the wall, above the windows on the ground floor.
I don't think you'll need them on the wall of your ruin, as this is too low, but maybe yoiu think otherwise.
