Looks great exept for one small niggle: the paper thickness. In 1/35 scale it looks more like cardboard than like paper.
What do you do if you want to have the sign partly loose with curled edges? Remove the glue? How to do this without damaging the sign/ink?

The thickness should not be a real problem, I have a box of those self-adhesive labels and they are in fact thinner that for example Verlinden Posters.

To remove the glue I just a q-tip soaked in a little bit of nail polish remover (handy with a wife and daughter in the house) and gently remove the glue.

I have to admit that sometimes this messes up the print, but hey you can always reprint.

Works for me so far.

I used this technique shown by salt6 several times and from my experience it`s usefull to experiment with different types of paper.

I prefer the non adhesive paper. just take some white glue and you can choose whatever you want to do with your poster

This could be used for shop signs and boardings also. Definately a good tip. Pictures on walls, wallpaper, 2D effects in hard to get at areas, etc.

You can use the same method on typing paper to print rank chevrons, Russian knots (the chicken guts officers' rank cord in the Confederacy), patches, blood chits and tombeaux (the designs on the front of Zouve uniforms). A decent printer will allow you to read print down to 1/35 scale. I've even done a pair of bed ticking trousers on a Tiger Zouave from Lousiana in 54mm using this method. I also make my flags from paper. Some of these designs need photo prgrm enhancements, but they work.

I used my printer to make the photograph attached to the sun visor in this FIAT 500.

I, as mentionned above, use only regular paper (non-adesive) glued with white glue, easy and no mess on the printing.
