hello!
I come back to my SU-100 project from New Star(old Tamiya copy) .
I plane to change some detail -commander and driver hatches, engine deck, change barrel to 85mm( this moment I have SU85M ) ,change fender to brass, correct wheels ,add new floor. The back hatch i `ve to scratch .Unknow future changes this SP gun to RC standard .
What else more,time shows us.[:)]
Have somebody any expierience with this kit?

Looks good, though I would remove the texture from the fenders.

Hi!
My relation slowly down ,because i do 1-25 Panther G with new Aber kit too .
SP gun waits for new wheels. On the photo You can see 2 new wheels for T34 and SU 100.

Regards Piter.

Unfortunately, I've got some experience with that kit as well. I built the Tamiya one about ten years ago, and currenlty am working on two more from Tamiya. For the uninitiaed, here are a few more problems:
Final drive housings far too narrow
Guide teeth on track too small and misshapen
Rollers portrayed between idler wheels rather than in their correct location-between the drive wheels
Odd pebble texture on entire model
Gun tube butts up against mantlet rather than going into it

Here's one on which I've exaggerated the torch marks on the glacis with a hot knife, sanded off the texture and cast on tie downs, and added texture to the mantlet:

Here's the original piece to show the odd texture, with the corrected version behind it:

Hello 18 Bravo!
I agree-with you about all poorness this model.I thing at the moment we can make Your list longer-
driver hatch, tracks, commander cupola, poor and flat chassis and floor-board.,plastic grills etc.
But over all it is in my favourite scale 1-25,and I will try to finish my Su 100.
As you know i try converted my Su 100 to Su 85M based on photo from Warsaw ,jan. 1945.I have to rebuilt commander cupola to 4 pieces, scratch front new fenders, new gun manlet and new barrel.
Moreover ibuilt another 1-25 models,paper-card too,and together they are on diorama.
Thanks for your value notice, send reagards Piotr
P.S.I hope to see Your all 1-25 scale models

Hi again

Next step that`s rebuilt and correct gun manlet and all arround.I tried to do texture .Upper bonnet (cover) i scratched .Just for fun new guns for 1-25 scale from Paszkowski.

Now few words about new products by Paszkowski. There are corrected diameters for SU 100 gun. To T34 and SU 85 guns made by hand based on specification. We compare new diameter with Rubio guns diameter after rescaled.
Now pics

By the way T34-85 gun

and new 4 -pieces commander cupola common for T34 and SU spg.

Hi!
Patterns of gun mantlet as set went to the rubber form.
"Mother" I hid, a model already has resin castings.

Hull of SU is mostly ready.
Time to rework the chassi and I plan to do, that in spite of the differences I can adapt it to SU and T34.
The differences are in the position of escape hatch and 2 inspection caps.

And continue today

My floor project is universal. You can choice version, and add caps and covers, remove some rivets . At this moment You can use chassi to early or late T34 or SU.

i`m bored with waiting, but finally i have resin commander cupola of an early type.
Now they will go on SU 85M, SU 100 and several varieties of T 34 turrets.
Better late than never;)
