Well I thought I would e-mail China and ask what next after the T34's
This was my reply.
Dear Tony
Thank you for your email.
Yes, we will do more large scale kits like as T34 in the future. Please be patient!
Best regards

HI
LOL, given the speed at which they are releasing kits, I wouldn't be surprised to see one within the next year or so.

That's great that you did get a reply! Maybe they will be the ones to do the Panther! :-) Or one of their 1/35 scale tanks like the S Tank!

Well 1:16 vehicles like halftracks are welcome...especially as RC vehicle as there is a real lack of those.
Panther tank would also be very very welcome in 1:16!

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade here, but Trumpeter have commited themselves pretty heavily in both 1/72nd and 1/35th in armor, with a new 1/48th scale range on the way. Added to that is their Warship and Aviation release program which is also pretty extensive...
In other words, much as I would like to see more in 1/16th scale as well, I doubt if there will be much 'movement' any time soon. There are some VERY major releases coming out soon in 1/35th the BR52 locomotive and the Chinook helicopter - both of which are big capital investments...Jim

Hi, I'd have to say that even though we may not be seeing another 1/16 scale vehicle in the very near future, that no doubt the folks at Trumpeter are working on another such 1/16 kit somewhere down the line.
Personally, I dont' really care what it is, as after doing two T-34s and some on the third, I will buy one, no matter what it's nationality or time period if the quality is as good as the T-34s have been.
Take care, Sgirty

I paid a visit to my local model shop today. Just to browse you understand :-) :-)
They had a T34/85 for £74.00. That's £15.00 cheaper than Hannants and no postage!!
It's now all over my living room floor. Just checking the parts O.K.
It's a big beasty allright. Just as well there's lots of info here and on the 'net to help me build a decent kit out of this thing (I hope).
Have a nice day everyone.

Hi Tony
AFV Modeller mag issue 19 is a must for building this kit,Dave Parker's reveiw and build are fantastic.
I'm about a 1/3 of the way through mine , and I still hate leaving it to go to work!!!!
Good luck with it

It would seem logical to see additional variants of the T-34 coming from Trumpeter...I'm thinking the SU-85, SU-100, and SU-122.

You are probable correct Jeff. However, I would still like to see a Sherman with interior detail
Andy,
I have downloaded this tonight. It only cose £1.18. A bargain I think. Do you have any photos?
Tony.

Hi Tony,
Trumpeter has always had a knack for releasing as many variants of a base model as they can, especially in their ship releases.
I'd love to see more stuff in 1/16 scale...a Sherman ranks right up there with a Panther, a Hetzer, Stuart, and my personal favorites...a JS-2 and Jagdpanther.
Give me those, and I'll retire from modeling and die a happy man!
Jeff
