I have an SU-85 conversion coming for the Trumpter T-34...now the questions begin...
Does anyone have any evidence of WW2 era SU-85s with the full spider wheels (like the T-34/85)?
I have the T-34/76 Mod 42 with the solid wheels, but I'm really not keen on stealing them from the kit, especially since I don't have another set that will work on it...
Thoughts anyone?
Jeff

Didn't the SU-85 have four fuel tanks while the T34/85 had only three? I always wondered and could never find out why.
Any chance of getting them from Trumpeter? I know Tamiya has parts available by the sprue.
Just a thought!

I have been shearching for some time now, but have only seen the SU85 series with diskwheels
Sorry dude! - got the same problem, would prefer to redo my 85 myself - but that seem to be a no-go!

Well, I think I've solved my troubles on the SU-85...
I'll probably cast a mold for the dished roadwheels and I found a nice piece of nylon rod that's the same diameter as the fuel drums, so I can cut sections of those, add the ribbing with styrene, and use brass strip for the ends.

How much would a conversion like that cost? Is there an SU-100 conversion?

Yep, the makers of the sole SU-85 mod-kit for the Trumpeter/Wasan T34 have released their SU-100 kit as well:
