As I can see "amphibs" is the last armor campaign so what do you think about building some armor with enemy markings. Panther with red star on turret, T-34 with cross etc.
Sounds interesting?
All ideas and comments are welcome.

There was a campaign idea called "Turncoats": Under New Management. That was about captured vehicles in use by the enemy. I don't know if it ever kicked off.

I would certainly participate in this campaign if it got started... it would give me another reason to build another T-34 and modify it to a Finnish AFV (chop the fenders, add headlights from T-28, 3-color camo, and hakiristas, oh yeah)

Hey! Count me in! I'm in the process of depicting a re-captured Willys Jeep being used by the 82nd Airborne just after DDay. It had been captured on the Italian front, painted in German colors with some added German fittings (Notek) and then recaptured by members of the 506th PIR near St Mere Eglise.
Saw a picture of it in a new book about the 82nd AB.

Count me in. Hmmm...let's see... a U.S. SdKfz 251 Ausf D or a German Renault UE? Better yet, both!

Sounds like a great campaign I would wait until next year to start it A lot of campaigns going on now Would it be just limited to armor?
It may be a good idea to make it a "general modeling" category That way aircraft could be included as well as ships

I'm glad you're interested in joining such subject.
I would propose 2nd or 3rd of January as starting date and March 15th for ending.
I think 2,5 month is enough and you?
I'll propose this subject at GM forum and see if someone would like to join in.

Sounds fun. Would any realistic combo of vehicle/country be allowed? I mean, anywhere a vehicle theoretically could have been captured/used, even if not documented? Just curious.

Keep it simple - vehicles only (any scale) and particular emphasis on T34s in Polizei Divisions...(just joking ) . Malta KV2s, Flak T34s....Oh yes!!..Jim

I could make a Panther captured by Home Army during Warsaw Uprising but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time for modelling on the begining of year. Anyway 2,5 months is much too short at least for me. I think 4-6 months would be better.

Hi Piotr
I was hoping that someone would like to build that espacialy there is some reference in Militaria XX w.
Concerning time frame I could extend it. Let's wait until some more members post theirs opinions.

I´d prefer to leave it as a vehicle only campain (no planes or ships), and people should send in a reference picture or a picture that shows a related vehicle (not nessesariyl a photo that shows exactly every bit an piece you want to add, but at least some pic that shows that this kind of vehicle was captured and re-used).
Well, but afterall you have to decide.
When it comes to the crunch, my tiny tanks can compete with all those ships and planes and phantasy vehicles

I don't think "Turncoats" got outta the gate. The idea might have been born during the days where there wasn't a good idea or concept of "group builds" yet established here on site. It isn't a bad idea though...

There's a winter photo of three captured M4A1's in SS hands that would look great in a 48th dio....
