Yep folks
it`s almost 1 o`clock night here in Holland so time for the Photoupdate number 9
Today I detailed the interior a bit more and asked my father for help. While he was an firefighter in his earlier years and could tell exactely what burns and how it looks like after that.
I went further on Greta giving her more colour
I also gave the Sniper his blanket where he hides under I also added the burlap to the gunbarrel
I also did some extra weathering on the outside of the building
Frontshot shows the weathering on the walls some bulletholes weathered poster
Overview of the outside building
detail of the sniper (imagine how that looks when the surrounding area is covered with snow
GRETA
scorched and burned interior
Any questions?? Just ask
I`ll always give answer

WOW, great job! Very realistic. Just one thought, I was told with my dio I needed to make the snow uniform look like it was durty because a white uniform will show alot of wear and tear. I agree with that and I am fixing mine. But other than that its looking great!

WOW!...very nice!...I like...!!!...I have been looking at the updates you have posted and you are quite the busy bee!...It is very very nice!...I like the detail added to the helmet with the holes! :-) :-) :-) ...very snazzy work!
To make it a bit more realistic I think I would add a rifle to the dummy...make it look like the dummy itself is a sniper...
Are you going to add a coat for the dummy to REALY make it look real???...I dunno its just an opinion...you might have a different one...
But its very nice!...
Be proud!!!
Cant wait for snow!

Faust,
Very nice progression. It is coming along very well. I wish I could do 1/2 the work in a day that you get done! Impressive. I like the look of the posters.

Great work mate, I am especially impressed with the burnt interior, I hope the owner was well insured! Your resourcefulness of evry day items never fails to amaze me and has been an influence.
The only comment I can make (believe me I tried to find more) is a techinical one concerning the rifle. From the picture I can see you have the burlap going over the stock just in front of his face. This would have been a bolt action rifle and this could impede or stop him cocking the rifle, snipers spend alot of time preparing their rifles (I know they all get upset when I cut it of to inspect the rifles). If this is not the case I apologize, I would hate to see this dio lose credability for such a small point that is easy to correct.

Good grief !
You stole from your mom, your dad, your little sister, the toilet AND the shower ! You're well on your way of giving modeling a bad name !
If keith lets you get away with that, in a few years you'll be sending "expense notes" as follows :
- figure stolen at hobby shop : 0,0 €
- dio base stolen and DIY store : 0,0 €
- building stolen at model show : 0,0 €
...
- time invested in modeling all this : 0,0 € (time in jail is free of charge anyway)
... but you're dio is coming on strong ! Great work, buddy.
