Hi all,
On another modeling forum that I belong to, I found the following posted today:
QUOTE
WARNING
Gentlemen, a group of hackers called Liga Unida dos Anti-Modelistas (Anti-Modellers United League) seriously attacked and almost destroyed a portuguese reference site of Modelism (Modelismo na NET). Just to let now the staff of this site and board that hackers are apparently on the move against us. Damn bastards... Mad
I've never heard of this group, but if they do actually exist and a site was almost destroyed, then I thought the staff here might want to get an advance warning and take whatever precautions they can. If you need to pass on this message to other modeling forums, then feel free to do so. Better to be safe than sorry.
PS didnt know where to post this so I just picked one...

Man. What a waste of time and talent. I am an Software Developer and if you had the time and talent to start hacking and cracking sites, you could make alot of money being a consultant. These people should be erraticated. Hope our site can defend against these guys.

Yeah, ive heard of these guys before. They were at SCHAMS a couple years ago and took last place to some quadropolegic guy that paints with his mouth. They remind me of the kids who get made fun of at school then bring a gun to school and shoot everyone.

What/where is the other modeling forum, and in what section? I appreciate the information warning and would like to track the source of a third party report.
...This is the right place to post this. Thanks.
