What do you all use for those bright orange combat id panels? Would kleenex with a bit of dilluted white glue work or what's better?

Hi
it should work. Don't forget that those ID panels are generally made of a rather glossy fabric. You'll probably have to give them a coat of semi-gloss varnish to finish (prior any weathering).
Personnally I use lead foil (found around bottle collar)

Don't use Kleenex -- its texture is too extreme for 1/35 modelling -- it would look like tree bark in 1/35! Use tissue paper that comes as gift wrap stuffing instead.
Some people use epoxy putty rolled thin.
Also check out these products AR35169BL (almost at the bottom of the page)

U don't have to buy 'em but you can learn something about how they looked and their features.

Also, Saran Wrap, or an equivelant food wrap works well too. Paint it orange and cut out the size piece you need.

Hi Hellbent
I have used aluminum foil for mine. I paint it bright orange or yellow and it looks good when applied with a bit of care.
Cheers

Thanks for the help! I'm going to try the foil methods. Do you shape the piece first and then paint of paint and then shape?
