Greetings everyone,
Here is my latest built which I would like to share with you all; a 1/35th scale USMC,M1046 Humvee, Tow Missile Carrier. This vehicle was built to depict a 1st Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division in Iraq, 2003. As usual some small improvements were made to enhance the look like; the Tow missile laucher, rear hood, a few small rivets here and there. Hope you guys like it, thank you

Great Hummer you've done here.
Someone will state that the radio set is not the good one but just put a map or anything else on it and you'll be fine.
Mine is still in my stash. Will wait a while before starting.

Another minor detail is that the radio needs to be replaced to a newer SINCGARS version. I'm sure Heavyarty will point out that later. =)

Hi Coca, love your Humvee!
I think the guys have pointed out most of the "obviouse mistakes" :-) . About the TOW, I think you basically are just missing the cable from the J-1 contact from the MGS and a power supply cable to the Thermal sight. Well, its probably all in Petes article on the TOW system.

Cheers

You guys already beat me to it. Yup, needs the Pro Art SINCGARS. Looks awesome. I love the boot marks on the roof and rear hatch. Good job.

Coca,

Your Humvee looks really great. I like the stowage in the back and the overall weathering in particular.

I have one in CARC Sand and loved every bit of it. I echo everyones comments on this.

I must ask how you were able to paint the lenses of the launcher optics so well.

Out-friggin-standing! lol Really sweet build, lots for the viewer to take in and enjoy. I too enjoyed the little duct tape addition, adds some character and a history to the vehicle. Also proves that once again, duct tape fixes everything. lol

Thank you very much for your comments and kind words.
Yes I do agree that I have missing the cable to the TOW, may be I was lacked of refer or a good close-up view of the launcher. But anyway thank you for the pointed it out, I'm appreciated.

Very very nice Coca. Im almost ashamed to show my humvee after seeing the one you have built. The weathering was very subtle and nice and the interior is pretty damn good. Its a hard call between this humvee and Pete's but Pete added the extra resin kits which scores huge points.

Will certainly be using both this build and Pete as a benchmark.

Great job once again!

Great job! I especially like the footprints. It gives me flashbacks! I lived/worked about a block away from 2/5 and saw a lot of thier vehicles. That is as real a model as you can get!
