Rick, it came out great. I love the dusty look and that painted star is real cool. Good luck in the contest Cheers Kevin

Thanks Kevin...Competition is tough though...lots of nice looking models up for the prize! I'm just glad to participate... The star was a nail biter ...trying to center it around the decal and letting the mask sit on top of the air filter and spraying the white paint in very thin coats to not let the paint run,or have too much over spray.. It came out better than I had hoped it would.

Thanks guys ...As for the color well It started out a mix of Tamiya colors ...I think I mixed some OD with olive green and a bit of Khaki added to it for the base coat but I then lightened it at least 3 times in my post shading with either buff or german dark yellow , so it does come out looking like a weathered scc15 under all that dirt.

Great finish Richard. The extra effort with the decals and masks have really paid off ... outstanding. Have you dmaged the tyres a bit to show ware? Looks great, but the pictures of them are not clear. Good luck with the MOM.

Hi Frank...Oh yeah My tires are always beat up ..I have a special file just to sand tires...once I've sanded off the seam I turn it on its side and take gouges out of the rubber all around ...from what I've seen it doesn't take long for the rubber to get pretty banged up.
