Hi Guys,

Here are my final pictures for the Tiger I I have been working on. It's the S33 in Nov. 1943.

1st picture is the back of the turret. Aber's storage bin is "FUN" to build....

This is an over all view of the turret, in Nov, 1943, the turret added the loader's periscope, the track holder, and deleted the smoke candle dispensers.

first coat od dark yellow on the chasis.

Hopefully can get all painted and weathered pictures by next week... Any comment will be greatly appreciated

Davidus,

Real nice and clean work, thought that you have finished painting it with camo pattern.
The storage bin is real immpressive to me, it looks fabulous. Can't wait to see it finished.
By the way, will you finish it by this Saturday???

Hi Richard, thank you. I preshade with flat black, and the turret was constructed later, that's why I painted the chasis first...

The metal storage bin comes with Aber set as well, lots of folding and bending, I tell you...

Don't you just love Aber :-)
I am just wondering, why didn't you decide to leave the turret bin open?
Anyway, as a German armour builder who thinks he is pretty good,
I would be very happy with your model any day.
Now comes the hard part, painting.
What do you have in mind anyway?
Keep em' coming Dave,
Andrew

Andrew, you are too nice. The picture done a lot good to this model. The reason I didn't leave the bin open is that I don't know what to put in it. Which I should, because the bin is simply beautiful, with inside frame and all.

I had done the green over yellow camo on it last night, because I don;t have any color pics of the S33 at that time period (Nov. 43) Although in the book of Tiger at East front, it has an S25 in brown over yellow camo pattern, but I don't like the pattern, so I think I just let it run wide....

I shall be able to put some finished picture next week, now all I need to do is making 4 figures to put into the vehicle...

Mighty Sharp!
Will the Aber set work with the late Tiger 1 or do you know if they make a set for the late cat ?

Thanks Gunfighter, the set has some common part with the late one, but lots of thingy will be wasted, i.e. the smoke candle dispenser, the S-Mine thrower, then you will miss a lot fo thingy for the Late version.

I don't think there is a complete set for the Late Tiger though.
