And last a wip shot:

Thanks for looking!
It would perhaps stand against the gingerbread dragon I will try to build next year, but the Sherman....
It will probably be eaten when the rest of the christmas decorations are taken down..yummy!!

The snow! How did you do the snow???

Looks tasty. How about adding some figgies trying to eat their way through?

I like the idea. Merry X-mas

Frank: There might come a Santa at Christmas Eve if the inhabitants in the castle have been nice!

Simon: The snow on the ground is cotton wool. The snow on the house is egg white, icing sugar and a little bit of lemon juice mixed together. Put it in a small plastic bag where you´ve made a small hole and squeze it onto the house.

Making gingerbread houses is a quite common tradition in Sweden, just in case someone thought it was my idea...

It definatly need some super detailing. Good AM parts would be M&Ms, various chocolade and maybe a light sprinkle of gello toppings.

Dear Andreas
Nice piece of work you have
especially the weathering on the roof. Nice toouch look like Nimix water:-)

Do you have workbench sorry kitchen pictures :-)

No Mister Ginger ??

Nice snow but if you want to stick to eatable ingredients you should try a mix of 50-50 salt and sugar give a really nice touch

Happy X-Mas and New YEar 2006

Seb: Kitchenbenchbench will come, a pity I don´t have any more or better... Btw it´s me on the pictures who´s building the house.

If somebody wants the recipe and the drawings, just PM me.
Cheers Andreas

Ps. Don´t tell my mom I have pictures on our kitchen on the Internet, she´ll kill me...

EDIT: In the frying pan closest to the camera is molten suger used for putting it together.

Nice Job Andreas, very nice. Its heart warming to see a young man like yourself to taking the time to create something as special as a gingerbread house. So many of us get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we forget what special ingredients go into making a holiday with the family a truely rememerable one. My hat is off to you sir.
