For magazines, posters or anything of those sorts I've seen people downscale it on their PC then just printing it out on printer paper, then weathering it accordingly

If you want quality why don't you try either DIOART

or Extra Detail through Modelmecca
Much better than "dotty" inkjet printing

Much better than "dotty" inkjet printing

Most printers now days print color photo quality. I think if you were creative enough you could create your own on a PC no problem. All you need is a photo or graphics program. By thye time you weather it anyway it would cover any printing in accuracies. I have printed several posters and maps and they look fine in small scale.

Cheers,
Ryan

I thought that the £2000+ Laser printer in my office at work would do a great job of such downscaling, but I hate to break it to you folks...you just won't get the results they do when industry technology is involved.

I have some of Paul (Nato308)'s magazines, maps and posters. The printing is simply exquisite, there is no visible "grain" to the print, its like the magazines just shrunk to that size.
