I was finally motivated to pull mine off the shelf and start it New Years' Day. The seat harness is Eduard PE, and I added a few Reheat placard decals. The rest is kit stock, and the instrument panel is the kit decal(s). I took the easy way out this time, I want this to be a fun break from some other ongoing sagas.....I finished primering and Micromeshing this evening, I'll post more pics soon.....
Cheers,
JK

Hi James!
You are the first to start!
It looks very good so far! I like those dials on the instrument panel... how did you made them?
Oh, and about taking the easy way... I hope you won't meet any serious problems! I've heard Hasegawa's P-40E can hold many surprises...

Hey James It looks super. Love the cockpit work so far, nice detail. For the Pilots shoulder harness and laps bets, what did use, lead foil or just foil. The belts hardwere, what PE set did you use. I just ordered Eduards USAF & USN WWII late set. Beautifully done, looks great James.
It feels like bible camp…Only I’m not crying pretending I’m somewhere else.
