Hi folks.

Im asking if you kind people could pass along some ideas my way. Im planning a Dio for a SA-2 Gainful in Iraq. Im not sure whether i wis to do Desert Storm or OIF, but I wish to show the missile launcher in a dug in hiding spot being *Surprised* by U.S. forces. At first I was thinking to go with a Special forces team running in and planting satchel charges on the thing, or having the team using a hand held ATGM on it. Then I thought maybe having the thing surprised by a helicopter. Thing is i dont think you can surprise anyone in an Apache, plus the dio might be a bit too large. So then I thought AH-6 little bird. We'll see how far that tangent goes.
Anyway, I messed up the link and length tracks on the drive sprocket on the vehicle so to camoflage the errors i was thinking of using mud or sand to conceal it, do desert vehicles show build up of sand on the running gear like that?...and how do you do it?

So...thank you for reading this, and if you can spare any good ideas...they would be welcome.

Thank You.

Jon, I don't think there'd be enough sand buildup to hide something like that. Why don't you try some battle damage? As if the track had taken a hit from a rocket or missile? Or even heavy cannon fire.
