Well... Major Rob always says the best part of a campaign is to try your hand at building something you would not usually build. Well I decided to give it a shot this time.
Now of course it's a truck, and that's what I normally build, being a more soft-skin modeler, than Armor, but my normal, chosen scale is 1/35. So, here's something out of the ordinary for me, I always enjoy seeing the Braille Scale models, and haven't attempted one in years. (My favorite scale for aircraft was 1/72... I know that's strange.... but heck, I admit to being rather strange :-) :-) )
So here is PST's 1/72 scale Zis-10 kit. 99.9% built out of the box, so far. All I added or replaced were the plastic tractor axles, with brass rod, and the steering wheel rod with brass rod. The only other things will be a gear shift-not included in kit, along with the glass.... also not included in kit.

so far it's been a fun build, and I'll probably be doing a few more Braille Scale kits in the future.

Hm, very unusual stuff. I'm not big fan of braille scale but some models are worth to buy.
Your ZiS looks very good, another great addition to the campaign.

Very nicely done Grumpy. Quite a well detailed kit at 1/72. Nice pose too by having the cab turn slightly.

Well, I once builded a PST Zil Rocketlauncher and there were simply no axles at all included in the kit.
The manual mentioned to make the axles from brass wire ("to be achieved seperattly"). Also, no glass included (that's standard PST); I made it from clear plastic sheet found on a yogurt cup...
On the other hand, are we modellers or not????

You did a great job this far Grumpy! Looks real nice!!!!

Very obscure choice; I like that. This looks really good.

You figured out if you want to put anything in the back?
