Well, finally... I can now confirm that my Tamiya King Tiger (static) will be in the March issue of FSM. For those that were interested in the painting, weathering and Zimmerit techniques I used, it's all outlined in the story.

It should be hitting the shelves in the first week of February! Here it is with my T-34/85 from the January cover.

Jeff

Pretty cool!

How's the SU-85 coming along?

It's on hold for now, too many other projects in the works for FSM. I'm working on a 1/16 Tiger I late conversion, a story for the 1/35 guys on how to do all the various types of tank tracks, and the Eduard Hetzer for a review. Once those are done, or somewhere in between, I'll jump back into the SU-85.

Yes, that's me...

I'm currently converting Tamiya's 1/16 Tiger I into a late Tiger, Trumpeter's T-34/85 into an SU-85, and building a T-34/76 Mod 43.

Add to that a 1/16 scratchbuilt Hetzer (I'm ready to start milling here sometime soon), and I can honestly say I'm pretty busy.

Picked up the FSM issue last week and immediatly recognized the T2 as your work.Didn't think you could out do the T-34,but you did.The kitty is very nice indeed.
With your current project load, are you mainlining the Mountain Dew or still just snorting it as a daily habit?LOL!
I'm waiting for the T-34/76!
cheers!

I saw your build of the KT in the March issue. Very nice build and good article. Congrats on the published work.

Thanks Ryan, and everyone, for the kind words.

On the official side, I've deleted some posts in this thread because things got a bit out of hand.

This is no personal knock against anyone, but it was the easiest way to get things back on track (no pun intended).

If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a message.

Thanks,

Jeff
