Dagger-1, do you have a link to yours? I would like to see it.
Thanks,

Thanks for the link Yoda.
Impressive looking model Dagger-1! I like the camo scheme, well executed. I guess I won't chuck it in the closet for now. I will probably start in early next year. I am going to go for the traditional Trade Federation color scheme. The biggest challege will be finding a tan color close to that seen in the movie. But I love the weathering possibilities on a color that is so light.

How big are these things in full scale? Why would they bother camouflaging them?
The tank is looking good, Yoda, I always like to see in progress pics with all that putty :-)

All of them are looking good. I am not that big of a Star Wars fan, well, I love the movies, but not a freak about them, here's what I's like to see...
I like the way it looks sanded. Maybe paint a metallic finish as a base coat and then overcoat that with whatever scheme you plan on doing. Then sand it in places to allow the metallic look come thru and also maybe spray a little primer on places that have been repaired (like where you added the styrene) You could probably leave little globs of the putty to simulate where a laser blast has grazed the hull (paint it black, grey or whatever). All of that would convincce me that it had been thru some hell and is why it has been captured..
just my .02

Re:paint scheme, it would look interesting if painted in a 'tiger stripes' scheme, and heavily weathered considering it's a pirated tank. Just me .2-cents.
