Hey guys,

First off, no this is not anything about cencorship, moderator rights, or critisism about how this site is run. I think there may be a faulty program. I'll look at a post and there will be four replies, all perfectly in the rules, and I'll check back another time because I see a new name in the latest post page, and all the older replies are gone and only the new one is there.... anybody else having this problem?

I repied to that thread too, but it dissapeared as well. I had started a fourth page, but it's now back to three...

I have deleted several posts from the Mig FAQ book thread that were off-topic according to Staff Jim's instructions.

ok.. makes sense. But I have seen dissapearing posts in other threads as well, as far as I can remember not pertaining to any of the "hot" topics that have plagued this site as of late...

I saw those posts and Vinnie made the right call. I was replying to them and opened up the relevent pages in a new window and they had gone. Having read them I understood why.

I think it's the time of year (for us northern hemisphere types). SAD they call it (Saeasonal Affected Disorder - I'm in no way calling anyone sad). It's gotten really bad in the 28mm painting forums lately. Handbags at dawn!

I have seen at least one 'non heated' post dissappear before.I think Drader started one on Dragon Gen2 figures and after 5or 6 posts it disappeared.Didn't think it was anywhere close to 'critical mass',but maybe I missed something at the end.Maybe a "post deleted per site guidelines" could be used to mark the post's place once it's gone in order to explain what happened.
cheers!

I wonder if anyone has ever noticed the delete post button, located next to the EDIT button, I've deleted several of my posts many times, when on second thought, after hitting post, I realized my remarks were uncalled for, unkind, or unfair, and yes even "God Forbid" off topic, or inflammatory and argumentative.

I've deleted posts also, for the same reasons as Dave. Sometimes I wish there were a delete button in life.

Being stuck at home today, and following the spite, I can in all honesty say that today was a black day for Armorama. Not because of the Editors, but because of a few capricious individuals in a number of threads.

Tha only questionable spot on the editors, (and I realize that they would be scrutnized either way) is that IMHO they should of acted quicker and slammed shut those two or three threads!

here's hoping for better days,
Frank
