I was just wondering if our private messages get deleted automatically after a certain period of time? I wasn't able to visit the site for awhile and when I was finally able to start visiting again I noticed that all of my old private messages were gone.

So to anyone that had sent me a private message and never received a reply, I apologize.

I was just curious.

I have messages that I answered still in my box from over a year ago. So I don't think they get deleted unless you delete them. (At least I never have had any deleted until I did it)

At least twice since the site began, Jim deleted all the old PMs from folks accounts. This was before we were hosted on a mega server with tons of space.

Jim (has in the Past) asked you to delete them Before he does............. So it gives you a chance to save important ones.....
