hi

well gents there is and ever will be one tank the Centurion. i served on Centurion AVRE,ARK,Bridgelayer,ARV, also cheiftain AVRE'S &AVLB's plus gun tanks qualified instructor. reason for this statement is that Strv 104 swedish upgrade kicked Strv 122 when put up against it. plus it still lives on in many countries today.

besides that i like all Armoured Engineer equipment, landship commitee vehicles.

having driven most modern tanks ie :- Conqueror ,centurion,cheiftain,kahlid,challenger,leopard 1 & 2 ,
T72,55,34,2S7,2S5,2S1,Shilka,Brdm,Bmp,M60,M1, list is never ending

best drive overall for confirdance leopard 2
go any where Centurion
for speed and fun T72
nightmare T34 & VT 34
enjoyment Conq
Faviorite well i have two Centurion AVRE still got the Dozer Blade knuckle when you catch it has you change gear. the other being the First Tank i drove in my unit Centurion Ark Big is not the word.
spent most time on Centurion Bridgelayer and Cheiftain AVLB (driven one once in my sleeping bag)
what i wished i had driven. strv 104
total time on tanks in service 12 years ,Duxford IWM museum 5 years. #:-)

ANy vehicle I got to command:

M113 family (except that piece of crap - M901 ITV )
M60A1/A3
M151A1/A2 (Hey as a battalion staff officer having your own jeep was a status symbol)
HUMMVs (in the 101st ABN DIV they were a luxury)
M88 (don't go anywhere without it!)

Did someone say something about cavalry? I thought I smelled horse s--t!
