A ew months back there was a thread about this truck and once I read it and saw the likes post in it I had t build one. I have really been intrested in this truck for years now. I have collected parts,photos drawings and date on any of the M915 famkily I could get. Well, after about Five years of research and two months of building this is what I have:



I built the truck in 32nd scale since there are plenty of truck parst I could use from the old Monogram line of 32nd scale snap-tite trucks. The cab came from a old 70's model freightlinger, All I needed to do was update the hood and make new fenders for it, the chassies is scratch built with the rear supiontion coming from a old M977 the are alot of bits an pieces from other trucks in there too, but too many to list right now.
I'm sorry these are not the best photos, but you'll get the idea of the work I've done so far.
Now I have to figuer out how to make the brush gaurd for it ,and come up with a set of two hole steel rims for the tires.
So far so good,and if it turns out wheel there will be a M870 trailier for it later on

I did the old copy and paste trick and I have to say that its seems that you have spent some quality time scratch building the truck. Nice work! I am pretty sure someone here will be able to help you with the brush guard and rims.

Yes, Sabot, your photos of the M915 helped a good bit, pluce I down loaded the manual for the truck and used the two veiw drawings shown on the Freightliner website

Some really great lorries and aircraft. Its a pity the pictures dont do them all justice.

I'm getting a new camara for Christmas, hopefully I will be albe to take better pics.
